Classic News

Classic Sport Horses believes that all of our mares came to us as gifts from God.  We are humbled by their abilities and beautiful babies. We do have video (CD and VHS) on each of our mares.  Just remember they are broodmares not Olympians.  Click on the mare's photos for a larger image.

Eerste:  This 15.2 hand daughter of State of the Art and Granddaughter of Art Deco is just marvelous. Along with her many registries, Eerste scored for the ISR/Oldenburg Main mare book in 2003. She has produced 3 colored foals and was bred to solid stallions.

Eerste gave us a stunning chestnut filly on April 12, 2005 by our stallion LeFeu.  Her 2006 filly below is gorgeous!  Eerste will be kept open this year. She will be bred back to LeFeu in the Spring of 2007. Eerste’s other foals are under saddle and scoring in the 60's at training level.

Book this mare early. She is VERY popular!

In-utero price is $5800.00 for this exceptional foal.

Tiger Lilly’s Tango (Tango):  Tango continues to be a marvelous mare and mom. Tango is a 16.2 hand Jockey Club registered Bay Thoroughbred mare. She is in the IRS/Oldenburg mare book, and AWS certified. Her 2004 filly Touché, by DaVinci, is simply marvelous.  Her 2006 colt by LeFeu is stunning and is the barn favorite where his owners have him stabled!  As you can see, her 2007 filly again by LeFeu, is stunning too.

She will be bred to Miracle for a 2008 foal. The in-utero price is $4500.00. His foal are able to go upper levels
(dressage and jumping) and possibly be registered Dutch!

She will be bred to our stallion LeFeu in 2008 for a 2009 foal. This may be the last foal for this marvelous mare. The in-utero price is $5500.00. His foal are able to do the upper levels of dressage, eventing, and jumping.

She has a limited number of breeding years left so book her soon or you will miss out on bloodlines from this exceptional mare.

Wanee:  Wanee is an 8 year old 15.3 hand black registered Thoroughbred mare. A New York bred and born thoroughbred, Wanee never raced. Her bloodlines include Nasrullah and Bold Ruler.   For her 5 generation pedigree, click here More refined than most thoroughbreds, when coupled with a heavier stud, she put a long-legged substantial baby on the ground. Sweet and honest, she passes this off to her offspring.

Wanee is bred to Miracle for a 2008 foal.  In-utero price on his 2008 foal is $4500.00

Diamond in the Sky (Skye):  18H imported Irish Sport horse by Diamond Lad.  She was imported in '97 and she has been winning in the jumper divisions from the 3'6- 4'6. Skye has also competed at Level 7 and was quite successful.  She is a big moving horse with great form over the fences. She is conformationally very correct and has a wonderful temperament.

She is bred to our Stallion LeFeu for a 2008 foal.

Please contact us for the price of this foal.

Call Me Happy (Maddy):  Maddy, is a Jockey Club Black Bay Thoroughbred mare.  She is 16.2 hands and possessed a nice floaty trot.

Her 2006 filly, Spice, by Miracle is very uphill and already shows a lot of susp
ension in her gaits. Spice sold the day after she was born!

Maddy is bred to LeFeu for a 2008 foal. In-utero foal is $4500.

Groton's Flower: Our matron
Our matron:  Groton’s Flower.  We called her “Flo” and everyone loved her.  Flo was a Kentucky bred registered Thoroughbred mare and  AWS certified.  Flo died on April 27, 2002, 10 hours after giving birth to Miracle.    She is still missed today yet her legacy lives on in her son, who ironically was named while still in-utero.  We will strive to make Flo proud.

Sadly, Pixie re-broke her leg on 10/04/2004 and had to be put down .  She was courageous and kind until the end, and she will always be missed by all of the Classic Sport Horses' family.

Pixie: This registered Thoroughbred filly came to us for free from a wonderful breeding farm in Millbrook, NY.  An own daughter of Dixie Brass she is the last foal crop from this  number 1  producing New York stallion who died recently.  Pixie suffered a disabling leg injury as a 5 week old baby.  She has endured surgeries, stall rest and rehabilitation and still remains sweet as pie.  Pixie can never be ridden but she will make an exceptional brood mare.  She should mature to over 16 hands and possess good size, refinement, and a great head.  We are blessed to have such a gift welcomed into the Classic family.  For her 5 generation pedigree, click here.
