Classic Sport Horses is proud to
offer three exclusive training Programs: Foal Kindergarten, Horse
High School, and
HINR (Horses In Need of Remediation)
Foal Kindergarten: This program works
with weanlings up to age 3 or before under saddle work really
begins. A well-adjusted young horse with a solid foundation makes
for a much better adult horse-whether that horse is used for
pleasure or competition or both. Our foundation training is based on
strong principles of consistency, fairness and creating a true
partnership with the horse. Young horses are first evaluated and a
program is custom designed for them based on skill level, goals,
temperament and other aspects. Horses are taught to successfully
master skills ranging from cross tying and bathing to driving and
backing of the young horse. These skills are all taught in a loving
and friendly manner and the pace of learning is set on the
individual horse's personality. Horses are exposed to a plethora of
things so they are conditioned to react appropriately. Special
services, such as taking a young horse to a show or clinic or other
venue can be arranged on an individual basis.
Charges for Foal Kindergarten are:
Stall board with training: $550.00
Run-in with training: $375.00
*Stud colts require additional charges
Discounts for multiple horses and/or for multiple months of training
with Classic Sport Horses. These charges include board, feed,
turnout and training. Farrier, vet, worming and medication are
extra. These specifics are arranged with the contract.
Horse High School: This program
works with age 4 (lightly under saddle) to horses of any age that
need to be restarted. Using the same methods, Classic starts your
horse and works with your horse in a calm and loving manner. Horses
are also exposed to many things and situations on the farm. Horses
are evaluated and a program is custom designed based on skill level,
goals, temperament and other aspects. Horse learn or relearn walk,
trot and Canter in a balanced manner, go out on trail, over and
other applicable skills as deemed by the goals set.
Charges for Horse High School are:
Stall with training: $650.00
Run-in with training: $475.00
*Stallions require additional charges

and/or for multiple months of training. These charges include board,
feed, turnout and training. Farrier, vet, worming and medication are
extra. These specifics are arranged with the contract.
The HINR (Horses In Need of
Remediation) program is for horses of all
ages. If you have a hard to handle horse, we may be able to help.
From ground work to under saddle work, our kind, gentle but
effective means works with the soul of the horse. We work to have
them overcome that emotional baggage and move forward for a
rewarding life.
Charges:
Stall with training: $800.00
Run-in with training: $575.00
